Singapore Cherry, Muntigia Calabura – Plant

Singapore Cherry, scientifically known as Muntingia calabura, is a fast-growing, small to medium-sized tree. It features bright green, serrated leaves and small, fragrant, white flowers resembling cherry blossoms. The tree produces tiny, red to orange, cherry-like fruits that are edible and sweet when ripe.This tropical gem is native to regions across the Americas and Southeast Asia.The Singapore Cherry grows best outdoors. It thrives when planted in soil that drains well and receives enough of sunlight. It's a great option for landscaping, adding natural shade, or giving your yard more visual interest. Singapore Cherry is low-maintenance, attracts wildlife, and can become invasive in certain regions. It's also known as Strawberry Tree, Jamaican Cherry, and Calabura.
