The Wax apple, also known as the Chinese apple, wax jambu, is a tropical fruit native to Southeast Asia. It is a small tree that can grow up to 20 feet tall and has glossy, green leaves and white or pink flowers. The fruit itself is round or pear-shaped and has waxy, thin skin that is either green or red in color. The flesh of the fruit is white or pink and has a juicy, sweet taste.

Wax apples are a good source of vitamins A and C, and they also contain small amounts of other nutrients such as iron, calcium, and potassium. They are often eaten fresh, but can also be used in jams, jellies, and other dishes.

In terms of care, wax apple trees prefer a warm, humid climate and well-draining soil. They should be watered regularly, but not excessively, and should be fertilized with a balanced fertilizer during the growing season. Pruning is also important to keep the tree healthy and to encourage fruit production.
