A mango variety with a distinct orange-yellow skin and sweet, fragrant flesh, the Kesar Aam, also known as the Gir Kesar mango, is extremely popular and in high demand. It is known for its sweet flavor. The ability of grafted plants of this variety to produce fruit of superior quality is one of the reasons why they are highly prized. Mangoes from the Kesar Aam variety are frequently utilized in Indian cooking, particularly in the preparation of mango pickles and chutneys. They are also delicious when eaten fresh, and they are frequently incorporated into the production of juice and various other sugary treats. Farmers and gardeners prefer grafted plants because they can produce fruit more quickly and reliably than non-grafted plants. This is one of the reasons why grafted plants are preferred.
