Golden Cyprus is an evergreen coniferous tree that is known for its bright, golden-yellow foliage. It typically grows to a height of 20-40 feet with a spread of 6-8 feet. The tree has a dense, pyramidal shape with a narrow crown. The needle-like leaves are scale-like and are 1/8 inch long and are arranged in opposite pairs. The tree produces small, inconspicuous cones.

Golden Cyprus is drought tolerant and can grow in a variety of soils as long as they are well-drained. It is also tolerant of urban pollution and can be planted in a variety of locations, including as a specimen tree, a hedge, or a windbreak.

This plant is relatively hardy and can tolerate temperatures down to -10°F. It is also relatively low maintenance and does not require regular pruning.

However, this plant is not recommended for planting in humid climates, as it may develop the fungal disease. It also requires full sun to maintain its bright golden-yellow color.

Overall, Golden Cyprus is a great addition to any landscape as it's low maintenance, and drought tolerant and its vibrant yellow color adds a beautiful contrast.
