Citrus Hystrix, also known as Kaffir lime, is a citrus fruit native to India. It is a cross between an orange and a lemon, resulting in fruit with a unique sour and slightly sweet taste.

The Citrus Hystrix plant has dark green, glossy leaves and small, white flowers. The fruit is small and round, with a thin, yellow to orange peel and juicy, light green to yellow flesh. It is often used in cooking, particularly in Indian cuisine, and is also used to make juice.
