Growing Requirements

Sunlight for Adulsa Plant

Your Adulsa Plant thrives best in full sun to partial shade, requiring at least 4–6 hours of direct sunlight daily for healthy growth and optimal medicinal leaf production.

Watering

Water your Adulsa plant moderately, keeping the soil consistently moist but not soggy. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out slightly between waterings, and reduce watering during the winter months.

Fertilizing for Adulsa Plant

Feed your plant with a balanced organic fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during the growing season (spring to early autumn) to promote lush foliage and healthy growth. Avoid over-fertilizing, as the plant grows well even in low-nutrient soils.

Planting and Care

Container

Choose a medium to large-sized container (minimum 12–16 inches deep) with good drainage holes to support its root system and prevent waterlogging. Use a well-draining potting mix enriched with compost for best results.

Pruning

Prune lightly after flowering or during early spring to maintain shape, encourage bushier growth, and remove dead or weak stems. Regular pruning helps improve air circulation and overall plant health.

Propagation

Your Adulsa Plant is best propagated through stem cuttings taken during the monsoon or spring. Use 4–6 inch healthy cuttings, plant them in moist soil or cocopeat, and keep in a warm, shaded area until roots develop.

Repotting

Repot every 1–2 years or when roots outgrow the container. Choose a larger pot with fresh, well-draining soil, and repot during the early growing season (spring) for minimal stress.

Your Adulsa Plant is generally pest-resistant but may occasionally face aphids, mealybugs, or whiteflies. Control them using neem oil spray or mild insecticidal soap for effective and organic treatment.
